MOTORSTUDIES is a research project that questions the mutation of the American industrial model by using the machine as an anchor, as much questioned in its representation as used as a measuring tool. The city and the intermediate territories are experienced as an uncertain organism. Each move serves as a mediation between the place, the operator and the tool. These spaces are photographed or filmed in order to elaborate and increase a database. MOTORSTUDIES centralizes plastic resources and elements of thought, and constitutes a bank of resources for the elaboration of works and projects.
